Material Testing Specialist (m/w/d)

Your mission

  • Conducting destructive testing of materials and components:
  • Metallographic analysis (macro- and microstructure, non-metallic inclusions), corrosion testing 
  • Spectral analysis (atomic emission spectroscopy and X-ray fluorescence methods) 
  • Mechanical testing (tensile strength, impact toughness, hardness) 
  • Preparation of samples for testing
  • Recording and initial evaluation of results (maintaining test logs; preparing test reports)

Your profile

  • Education – completed vocational training or a higher technical degree
  • Required knowledge:
    – fundamentals of destructive testing methods
    – requirements of testing standards
  • At least 3 years of laboratory experience required
  • Personal qualities:
    – attention to detail and accuracy
    – strong sense of responsibility
    – reliability and diligence
